I am a member of the Parish Team and meet with them on a regular basis to report on my ministry and receive support and direction from the team members.
 

I report directly to Fr. Foley on official and administrative matters.

 

 
As a Catholic chaplain at Deakin University my duties in a multi-faith role are as follows:
  • Provide a focus for the campus community’s spiritual life
  • Help nurture people’s faith - no matter what faith they practise
  • Be available to those seeking meaning and purpose in their lives
  • Provide support to students and staff in times of personal crisis
  • Provide opportunities for worship and prayer
  • Lead study groups in scripture, prayer and meditation (or be willing to do so)
  • Assist in relation to issues of justice and peace
  • Be available to preside at funerals, weddings and other celebrations
